Dr Saleem has been a GP in Lambeth since 2009. He studied medicine at University College London and spent several years training in various hospital specialities including, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, A&E, Orthopaedics, Obs & Gynae and HIV medicine, before deciding to specialise as a GP. He has specialist skills in Asthma, COPD and inhaled therapies, being the one of the original creators of the Rightbreathe website.
Dr Saleem is the primary care respiratory co-lead for Respiratory medicine across the SEL ICS. He is also a Long Term Conditions lead for Lambeth Together. He is a member of the UK inhaler group and the Primary Care Respiratory Society. He has been part of several research projects on inhaled therapies and lung cancer screening. He is a tutor to medical students within the practice and a clinical supervisor to junior doctors. He usually works Mon-Wed.
